Otto Petersen Parents Organization

The Otto Petersen Parents' Organization (OPPO) is a group for parents of students at Otto Petersen Elementary. The actively supports the mission and goals of our school through volunteering, fundraising and curricular enrichment. If you have a child that attends school here, you're a member. Come join us at our next monthly meeting. Meetings are held monthly at 6:30 PM in the OPE Library, according to the schedule below.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Please note: All school volunteers need to complete a Scappoose School District Background Check Form every other year they volunteer. You can download the form from our website and drop it off at our school office. If you have questions about whether your form has been processed yet, please contact Hailey Nassimbene in our office at (971) 200-8003.

Message from OPPO

Thank you so much to the volunteers that came out and helped us count hoops for the Hoop-A-Thon! We are currently compiling the hoop data and pledge information, and will announce the grade level winners and Grand Prize winner soon.

Please consider volunteering for a board position for the 2017-2018 school year as all four of them will be open. Details for each position will be provided upon request. If you are not interested in a board position, perhaps you would be interested in chairing one of the awesome events.

Join us for our next meeting on Wednesday, March 15 at 6:30pm in the school library.

Current Fundraisers

Spring Book Fair is scheduled for March 17 – March 24. It has been scheduled during the week prior to Spring Break again this year as parents mentioned it was great for the students to have books to read during their travel time.
